Promotions Ranked
Everyone knows the UFC is number one when it comes to MMA nowadays.
There’s no denying that, but since the fall of Bellator, it’s been hard to say who number two is. Well, Forbes released their list of most valuable combat sports promotions, and it included boxing and pro-wrestling (for some reason). So, if you take the other two out, you have a decent list, as it stands now, as we close the first quarter of 2025, where they rank.
So, as of Spring of 2025, here they are according to Forbes:
If we're going by the Forbes list, when it comes to MMA only, these are how the promotions rank:
1. UFC ($11.3B)
2. ONE Championship ($1.3B)
3. PFL ($690M)
4. Combate Global ($120M)Before anyone says it, I agree on the side eye for ONE.

With boxing and pro-wrestling in the mix, this is the full list, along with what they’re worth:
UFC ($11.3B)
WWE ($6.68B)
AEW Wrestling ($2B)
ONE Championship ($1.3B)
Matchroom Boxing ($850M)
PFL ($690M)
Top Rank Boxing ($630M)
PBC ($600M)
Golden Boy ($450M)
Combat Global ($120M)
The PFL believes they’re number two.
When it comes to homegrown, North American MMA, it looks like they’re right.
So why does the sport seem so stale these days?
