Usman Nurmagomedov remained undefeated in the Bellator main event in the Pechanga Arena in San Diego, California on Saturday night.
He managed to defeat Alexander Shabliy by unanimous decision remaining undefeated and coming close to accomplishing what his cousin Khabib did in his career. Other fights of now were Lorenz Larkin’s KO of Levan Chokheli and Aaron Jeffery’s victory over the former champ, Douglas Lima.
The Bellator we know and love might be gone, but the great fighters still under this version still deliver.
UFC Vegas 97
Gilbert Burns picked up his third straight loss against Sean Brady in the main event at the UFC APEX.
While it did not look easy for Brady, he still seemed to push the pace a little more than Burns. Burns is now 38 years old and says he wants to take some time off to think things over with his team according to his post-fight interview with Charly Arnolt on ESPN. Check that out here:
ONE Championship: ONE 168
ONE Championship made their return to the U.S. with ONE 168 at the Ball Arena in Denver, Colorado.
While the card delivered, the standout moment of the night was the retirement announcement from Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson who walks away from MMA with a record of 25-4-1. Johnson made his emotional farewell announcement and became the inaugural inductee to ONE Championship’s Hall of Fame. Check out his farewell below:
