PFL 2025 World Tournament Continues

No UFC, No Problem

PFL
Good Friday Fight Card

Just because there’s no UFC, that doesn’t mean there isn’t something to watch.

A nice early Good Friday card is on ESPN ( or ESPN+) as the PFL continues its residency at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida. They lost a few fights, but it’s a pretty solid card, and if you happen to be off from work for the holiday, it’s a nice way to start your weekend.

Why does this card interest me?

Because one of my favorite fighters from the north, Aaron Jeffery, is on the card. He takes on Murad Ramazanov in this first-round tournament bout. Also, Brent Primus is on the card, taking on Vinicius Cenci, as well as my favorite boxer/MMA fighter, Clay Collard. He takes on Alfie Davis.

See the complete card and when and where to watch below:

Time to Change the Channel

Speaking of the UFC, did you know the negotiation window for a new broadcast partner opened for them this week?

A lot of rumors are floating around about who the suitors are, but the two big names that keep coming up are Netflix and Prime Video (Amazon). I hope it’s Prime Video, not just because I’m an Amazon affiliate, but because they’ve been handling live sports longer than Netflix without interruptions.

No one will be happier than me to see the UFC exit ESPN.

We spoke about that during this week’s Coast-2-Coast Combat Hour, along with recapping UFC 314 and our full reaction to the GFL falling apart.

Check it out here:

Last week, I spoke with Austin Hayes, a young up-and-coming fighter who will be fighting on the Millions platform next month.

During our conversation, he kept mentioning his brother, Ray, and it turns it he also has a fight booked in May, on another platform I write for, Speciation Sports. I’m not interviewing his brother, James Lynch is but it totally threw me off that two brothers were in camp together.

Check out the full interview with Austin, and my reaction here.

While you’re at it, you might as well grab some Coast-2-Coast Combat Hour merch on Millions as well.

That’s it for this week.

Have a good weekend and enjoy your Easter!
